Bedrock Bar & Grill is another Keith Loh's brainchild that tries to share the pie among the better steak houses in Singapore. Opened in late December 2008, Bedrock Bar & Grill is a modern grill restaurant and whisky bar. Designed by award-winning design consultancy firm AvroKO from New York, its warm and intimate setting showcases outstanding design with the use of organic elements such as unfinished wood, rough granite, and custom-made plush leather booths. For business meetings or parties, the private dining space can be reserved for groups of six, 12 or 20 persons.
Tucked right in the heart of Singapore's main shopping district, Bedrock Bar & Grill is the new kid on the culinary block. Spanning 2,200 sq ft at Pan Pacific Serviced Suites, this modern grill restaurant serves great food and even better drinks - the sleek bar is devoted to only premium whisky and classic cocktails.
The intimate atmosphere is moody with its wood-paneling walls that give it a romantic vibe. Bedrock also boasts a mammoth list of 30 premium single malt whiskies from around the world, a small flight of which you can sip on if you just can't decide. If whisky makes you cringe, don't be shy about ordering from their impressively weighty list of wines and champagnes. Or you can drop by on Monday nights -- it's BYO vino night, with no corkage charge.
