Design and conceptualized by three friends from local college, Jolly Frog, a Gourmet Bistro Bar which specializes in Australian cuisine. Located along the street of Neil Road with an option to dine in indoors or al-fresco. A two leveled restaurant stationed with a lounge on second story and a comforting bar on the first. Designed at its best simplicity that spills out tranquil setting.
Each of the furnitures in Jolly Frog have been precisely designed and custom-made to suit the boxy architecture of the building inspired by Aussie cafes concept ? warmth and welcoming. While indulging in the cuisine and coffee, consumers can at the same time widen up their knowledge about foods with descriptive breakdown details of handwritten information wrote on the chalkboards, hanging along the walls.
When you first enter the bistro, you are greeted by a small open space surrounded by walls. Despite how claustrophobic that sounds, the space promises a breath of fresh air and a sense of sanctuary. The dining is casual in its design, clean, warm and sophisticated. The tables are unique as they are essentially giant benches pressed against each other so you have to move the entire table to slot into the banquettes. It?s a bit of a chore to do so, but the wait staff are so attentive that you don?t have to move from your seat at all.
With the second level transformed into a lounge area, comfortable semi-circle sofa seating and bar top table, one could easily tranquilize the mind and let the night be entertained by DJs spinning on selective weekends or private events. Menus serving breakfast, lunch and dinner with food which ranges from pizzas, pastas even barbecued meat. Indulge in a savory meal or just simply relax and have a cup of coffee.
Jolly Frog caters to events, meetings or celebrations, expanding any possibility to get closer to the hearts of locals as well as outlanders.
