SUANTHAI restaurant commenced business in November 2005 at 101 Killiney Road. SUANTHAI in English means 'Thai Garden'. The restaurant was set up by Mr. Steven See Tong, who was previously a General Manager with THANYING Group of restaurant for 14 years. The entire kitchen team are all Thai and is helmed by Chef Rung Traiyan, who has several years of experience in Thai cuisine and assisted by Chef Sawadee Sakaoduan, who was a Head of Chef with THANYING restaurant.
Suanthai serves authentic thai food and its buffet a la carte promotion offers the best value for its wide spread of thai dishes. For those with a limited appetite, it's a la carte menu has something for everyone. A second outlet is located at the basement of Liang Court which has the similar concept to the existing restaurant at 101 Killiney Road. SuanThai Restaurant really has this rustic charm and traditional feel to it.
