Chelsea, the sister restaurant of M Cafe, opened in Serendra last April 13, 2007. It offers a theme of the recently Gentrified and hottish scene in the Chelsea section of Midtown Manhattan in New York City, particularly at the Large Chelsea Market which has numerous restaurants, Non-stop food tours and tastings happen there every minute. It is also the new home of the Food TV Network and is the "in" thing for new york yuppies aside from SOHO (South of Houston) and Tribeca (Triangle Between Canal).
The restaurant definitely looks like one of the cushy bistros you would walk into in downtown New York. Deli goods, wines, big-muscled rustic breads, crates of fresh veggies, a shelf of gourmet sauces for sale, all-nations cheeses, stacks of china in different places for the waiters to grab, and an attention-getting showcase of complex cakes and desserts that you must have space for.
